DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?
Movement Matters is an Out-of-Network cash practice with a fee for service structure that us unhindered by the profit driven decisions of insurance companies. This allows us to provide you with the treatments that you deserve. Often insurance companies dictate treatment you receive and for how long, regardless of what you actually need. We will always serve you according to what is best for you, not an insurance company’s profit margin. With this structure we can provide 1 to 1 treatment with a physical therapist that you will not receive anywhere else. At an insurance base clinic, you might get 15 min with a PT out of your 60 min session. You will always have 100% of the time and attention of your PT. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be able to submit a superbill for reimbursement as an out of network benefit.
DO I NEED A PRESCRIPTION FOR PT?
No. In the state of Pennsylvania an individual can be treated for 30 days and then will require a prescription if needed.
HOW OFTEN DO I COME IN?
This will be determined by you and your PT after a complete evaluation. Most clients will attend PT sessions 1 or 2 times a week, however you may attend more or less depending on your specific needs. Your time is valuable and that is why your physical therapist will give your 100% of their attention during your visit.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear what you would typically exercise in. Comfortable clothing that allows you to perform at your best. Therapeutic massage may be determined to be a part of your treatment however your will not have to undress for the treatment. We often have patients arrive for treatment from the workplace and we can accommodate.
WILL I RECEIVE A BILL?
Payment is due at the time of service and your will never be billed for additional costs. We accept all major credit cards and HAS/FSA. A superbill/receipt will be provided to you at your request, and you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
